The story of Arlequin brings us back to her European roots where the arlequin (or Harlequin) plays a comedic role in society. Often seen as a poor “fool”, dressed in patcheworks of used cloth, Jael’s inspiration from the Arlequin is translated into a colourful and joyful rendition of a comedic “fool”.
