Aptly named 1×1 Exhibition, the catchy term referencing the size of a 1 square foot canvas has been a popular show for Galeri Titikmerah.
With a total of 60 over pieces, the exhibition serves as a platform for approximately 50 artists to showcase their works. Aside from the size, no other criteria was required and the freestyle approach has added an interesting spin to a typical exhibition.
Mediums used range from photography, mixed media, pencil, Acrylic, oil and many more.
Artists were free from themes, resulting in a wide genre of topics being covered, from portraits, abstract, pop art and modern.
Street Artists, Fine Art practitioners, photographers whether experienced or amateur participated with their 1x1s, adding to the variety and breadth of works.
Catch the exhibition at Galeri Titikmerah (Art Row at Publika, Kuala Lumpur) from now till 17th March 2016.
